indoor and outdoor

Jaswanti woods

Contained spaces.

A garden is a place for lying in the grass, swinging, croqueting, growing flowers, and throwing a ball at the dog. But there is another way of being outdoors: and its needs are not met by the garden at all. Jaswanti woods lifts up the greens onto the rooftops, with a play of open, semi-open, and closed spaces.

Intermingling play

Rooftop design looks at open spaces that connect people, moments, and engagements into a narrative of pocket landscapes. A crafted composition of outdoor rooms, chic spaces in a combination of outdoor scenarios are composed of covered, transitional, independent, and circulation pockets. Amenities include free plays, home theatre, spa, fitness zones, and leisure spaces inviting active and passive engagements. Materials with natural textures, vertical elements enhancing ambiance, lighting giving eclectic experience, and tropical plantation define Jaswanti Woods.

Connection to the earth

‘A house feels isolated from the nature around it unless its floors are interleaved directly with the earth-elements that are around the house.’ The rootedness occurs in buildings as we have surrounded them by terraces, paths, steps, gravel, and earthen surfaces. These surfaces are made of interhighlightste materials - more natural than the floors inside the house but more man-made than earth and clay and grass.
